How many years have you been in competitive snowboarding?
I have been snowboarding since I was seven years old, so 11-12 years now.
What club and or snowboard camps have you participated with in the past?.
I am a current member of the US Snowboard Team and the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.
Who were your past coaches?
I grew up under the coaching of Luis Reyes, Mike Lund, Eddie Johnson and Ian Kirk in Ludlow, Vermont.
What is your strongest/favorite discipline in your snowboarding?
I ride both halfpipe and slopestyle, many people would say that I am a better halfpipe rider but riding rails is probably my most favorite thing to do.
Results from last season?
Last year I had a lot of awesome experiences and opportunities, one of which was being invited to the legendary Arctic Challenge in Oslo, Norway. Some of my contest highlights are as follows:
- 4th place European Open
- 5th place O'niell Evolution
- 6th place New Zealand Open
- 1st place USASA Monster Jam
What are some of your past competition experiences?
As I said, going to the Arctic Challenge and meeting Terje was a huge moment. I made four trips to Europe in the past year and enjoyed every one of them, the competition is only the work part of every trip for me, the travel, friends and experinces we have are what make what I do so enjoyable.

What is your workout/stretch routine in the past?
Umm, I skateboard. Haha no I also spend plenty of time in the gym and on a bike. I also enjoy hiking and exploring vermont on the rare occasion I'm home.
What are your goals for the season?
Travel, make friends, have fun. Last year I finished the year ranked at number 13 in the world. I am currently number 2 (as of november 2011) and would love to finish the season a spot higher! To keep track of my rankings cruise over to my website – benjifarrow.Net
