If you could go anywhere in the world for vacation, where would you go and who would you take? If I could take a vacation to anywhere in the world I would travel to Fiji. The reason I would go to Fiji is because it is a beautiful place and is home to some of the best waves in the world. Surfing is another passion of mine and since I have expierenced some of the best snowboarding there is, surfing is next on my list. Along with me on my trip I would bring my dad and Kelly Slater. I would bring Kelly Slater because he is a surfing icon with impeccable style and skill. He would be an amazing person to surf with and I would be able to learn a lot from him on this trip. I would bring my dad also because he would enjoy the trip just as much as I. Fiji would be the ultimate SURFari.

Do you have any unique talents or hobbies that you are proud of? A unique talent that I am proud of is skateboarding. My dad started me on a skateboard at the young age of three and by the time I was six years old I was on the Osiris skate team. I dropped in on a vert ramp for the first time on my seventh birthday and haven’t stopped since. When I was eleven years old I skated in the Tony Hawk tour with skaters like Bucky Lasek and Bob Burnquist. Six years later at the age of 17 I continue to skate a lot and have become a talented bowl skater. I spend a lot of my time in the summers with Ricky Bower ripping up the bowls and learning new tricks. It is a talent that I am proud of because it is something that I will always be able to do and enjoy with confidence that I can hold my own at a skatepark.

What do you hope to accomplish as a member of the PacSun USASA Team? As a member of the PacSun USASA team I have many things I would accomplish. At the top of my list would be winning the Nor Am series. After having a gold and a bronze this winter, I know that the series title is well within my reach and something that I am going to win. Another thing I would like to accomplish is winning USASA nationals. After winning every heat up until the finals and then falling in the second to last berm in second place I hope to get redemption and win the USASA title next season. Making it into X Games is another attainable goal of mine. As a member of the PacSun Team, I would have a positive, successful winter while being a good sport and representing the PacSun USASA in the best possible way

When you need courage before a contest or photo shoot, who do you turn to? Why? When I need courage before a race I always turn to my amazing coaches Ross Hindman and Phil Fell. I am very fortunate to be coached by them they always keep me in check at the top of the course. Ross Hindman is an amazing wax technician and Phil is always helping me work on new race lines. It is comforting when I get in the gate to race that I know I have the best coaches behind me who have given me the tools for success.
