After riding there for a few days I had to pack my bags again and left for Mammoth Mountain in California for the US Snowboarding Grand Prix.

The first Slopestyle event of the season took place in Hunter Mountain’s Park Avenue terrain park. Mike Valez and his park crew (local Bozwreck crew) built a jump line that consisted of a flat box, to a medium table jump, to an option of flat box or a flat down rail or a corrugated pipe/log jam, to a large table (with a smaller option), to an even larger jump (also with a smaller option), to the NIKE 6.0 car (a multi option box feature). These six features made a wide variety of runs possible and over 75 athletes showed up in -4 degree weather.
