thumb_canyonsgrandprixHey everyone,

I just started competing again!!! My first competition back was a World Cup at Blue Mountain in Canada. The course was fun and my knee was feeling pretty good. However, I couldn't seem to pull it together for the race and ended in the middle of the pack. After Canada me and the rest of the US team flew to Park City to race a Grand Prix at the Canyons. We missed both days of practice and our first day on the course was the day of time trials. I was really nervous but ended up qualifying first. When heat races came around I ended up winning my first two heats which put me in finals. In finals I had a rough start and ended up in second place for most of the course. The girl in front of me cased the step down and fell. Me and the Canadian girl went around her on different sides and the Canadian ended up beating me to the finish. I placed second in the Grand Prix but won National Champion for 2012. All in all it was a great weekend. We head to Canada on the 17th for another World Cup and then end the season in Europe for World Cup Finals and Junior Worlds. I'll keep you all posted.
