An Update from Faye Gulini

ladies-podiumJust got back from Telluride competing in the Boardercross World Cup. It was a short exciting trip. I had great results. I got 8th in the race which is higher than I have ever placed in a World Cup and was the top US lady. This qualified me to compete in the next three Boardercross world cups to try and qualify for the Olympics. I was then asked to do the team race with Lindsey Jacobellis. Lindsey and I proceeded to win the team race. For those of you that are unaware of what a team race is. A team race is when each Country comes up with a team of two. The first set of racer race down the course and when they cross the finish line the next teammates gate drops at the top of the course. Lindsey would start for us and get to the bottom first giving me a few seconds on the other girls. It was a very close race. It was a sucessful weekend for me and I am now looking forward to going to Europe on the 4th of January to compete in the next two World Cup races. Keep you all posted!!!!
