Last update07:13:55 AM PST

Brooke ShawHello everyone, it’s been a while since I last talked to you.  I’m going to give you a quick update on what’s been going down these past months.

After nationals, I came back to CT and started physical therapy right away. I already knew the therapist, he helped me when I tore my hamstring, and it’s nothing new to me. I’ve started to go to the gym way more, now that my knee is doing better. I just went to the doctor yesterday and he said it looks awesome and he told me to just to keep doing PT till the end of July and I should be good! In PT I’ve been doing a lot of jumping, running, weights and it’s great! I feel like a “human” again. The therapist has been so impressed with how I’ve been progressing. He said I went from just little jumps to bouncing around the room like a nut. I can say my knee is doing AWESOME!

I can’t wait to get on snow, but I’m scared and exited at the same time. I think the first time I go up the lift I’m going to be so exited that I will just go around on the lift again and just enjoy the ride. Then I’ll probably get off and catch my edge, ha-ha!

Now that PT is going well, I finally finished school. The last thing I have to do is send in my work. Since I’m home schooled, the school I do all my work through will probably give me a ring for graduation, YAY me!

In April and May I’ll just been doing PT, hanging with old friends and partaking in a few birthday parties and hopefully getting some sun. By the way, I just turned 18, so I just had a little party with the family. I’m still making hats even in the summer, when I get a free moment.

Well I hope everyone on the Pac Sun team is doing well and getting ready for summer! Hopefully, I will see all of you at Woodward.
