No. Registration opens Friday at noon and credentials do not work until Saturday for lift access.

Nationals officially starts on Saturday and all our tickets/vouchers/credentials start on Saturday. Friday is simply a "early bird" registration time to get people setup the night before, that way they are able to ride on Saturday rather than wait in line.

I assume you are serious, so I will answer as best I can...

Registration is where you check in so we know you are at Copper and will be competing. You pick up your bib, your 7 day lift ticket/credential and your shwag bag with free stuff.

Vouchers are for friends and families, not competitors. Competitors get a 7 of 8 day credential worth $483 if you went and bought the ticket.

You are not required to check-in on Friday. You only need to check-in the day before your first event so we can give you your credential and bib.

If you don't feel that getting a 7 of 8 day pass, even if you only compete 2 days(!) is "user friendly" or "flexable" enough, then I don't know what else we can do for you.

Thanks for taking the time to explain.....I know you think I'm bein a jerk
of course I'm serious.......I had to jump thru a lot of hoops to get here
I also know you must have a hard job with a lot of headaches. For that effort I'm grateful.
I think wanting time before the event to practise is valid.I'm probably
not the only one......This could have been arranged differently if the details were more clear I guess thats about it.......

USASA offers a practice day on Saturday, the first day we pay to be at Copper for Nationals. Anytime before that is not something we can afford to pay for, that is up to individuals. If you want to ride the whole week before Nationals that is up to you, but we cannot pay for it.

Again, your credential gives you 7 days of riding regardless of how many days you are actually competing.

Actually, Saturday is a perfect practice day if you're competing on Sunday. What a great opportunity to get a fresh look and feel of your race course (granted, it's only 1 hour), but think of everyone else who isn't racing till later in the week; they no longer have the recent feel of the course like you will.

If you just want to ride to get your legs warmed up, you still have access to other runs, groomers, terrain park; ALL DAY on Saturday!
