Check out some photos from our first ever USASA Nationals Rail Jam!
Day 1 of USASA Skier Nationals went off without a hitch! The bluebird day lent to an overwhelming amount of spectators at all 3 venues and smiles to be had all around. The SkierCross course hosted our youngest competitors, up to 12 years of age. Age, however, was deceiving, as they all ripped up the course! Over on Slopestyle, our 13 to 18 year old competitors were putting on quite the show, with many of these competitors hitting the biggest jump line.
Happy New Years! First of all, congrats to all on still being alive!
I’m looking forward to a really exciting and productive 2013! Thanks to my win at USASA nationals Open Class in slope, I got invited to the first half pipe world cup down in New Zealand last summer! That was my first big pipe comp back and I ended up in 9! Second out of U.S girls! I also did the New Zealand Open in Slope and ended up getting 7! The second U.S. girl again!
Hello??? Who?? What????? OMG :) I won a snowboard?
Yep that's a pretty common response when you call someone and tell them that they've won a brand new Never Summer Snowboard! Just ask Savannah of the Big Mountain West Series our November snowboard winner.
We'll be giving away a Never Summer Snowboard in January to one lucky snowboarder and we'll also be giving a way a pair of Vokl Skis to a lucky freeski member. All you need to do to be eligible is join or renew your USASA membership.
Just one of the many benefits of joining the the largest Snowboard & FreeSki Association on the planet. Become a member today, join us at our fun and fair events for all ages across the country. We influence the future of our sport and we couldn't do it without you!
The exterior of the van is graphically striking with action photos of Jordan Romero, an A3 sponsored athlete who holds the world record as the youngest mountaineer to ascend all seven of the highest peaks in the world, on each continent, including Mount Everest, which he climbed with his father at age thirteen. The van graphics also feature action photos of USASA snowboard and ski athletes from the 2013 USASA National Championships at Copper Mountain.
The first stop for the van will be at the upcoming Midwest Best Regional Rail Jam and Slopestyle competition on January 18th and 19th at the Sunburst Ski Resort in Kewaskum, Wisconsin. From there, the promo van will travel across the Midwest en route to New England where it will appear at events through the winter. Commenting on the van and the partnership with A3, USASA Executive Director Pete Davis stated, “A3 really stepped up to support the USASA with the promotional van. It has already generated a lot of excitement for A3 and the USASA. We are all looking forward to introducing A3 product to our members as we travel to events in the Midwest and New England regions.”
