"It was really fun to be out here to support everyone” 2010 Olympian and Dancing with the Stars finalist, Louie Vito said, “We’re sharing all our different USASA experiences and reminiscing about how USASA played a big role in our lives and careers so it’s great to give back.”

Current US Ski & Snowboard team members and 2022 Olympic Team hopefuls came out to support USASA 10 days before heading off to Saas-Fee, SUI for early-season training. “It’s important for me to be here,” Lucas Foster noted, “USASA was the birthplace of my career, and my life wouldn’t be the same without this community so I want to give back to what has given me so much to make sure people are aware of the value USASA gives to so many kids lives.”

USASA Series Directors from Maine Mountain Series, Midwest Best, Appalachian Series, and Rocky Mountain Series also made the journey to McHenry. “This was a fun way to give back to the organization and kick off the upcoming season!” Maine Mountain Series Director Chrissy Hamel said, “And you don’t have to be a “ pro” golfer or even a “good” golfer to participate in the fun.”

"The generosity by all involved was amazing!” USASA Executive Director, Mike Mallon said regarding the turnout and the increased fundraising, “It’s really special to have Olympians and US team athletes who all came through the USASA be able to interact with donors while having fun on the course.  It really helps drive the message that it takes a village and that at USASA we are laying the foundation now for the next generation."
