USASA Membership Information
Trial membership: FREE! That’s right a Free One Day Trial- This is for the first timer - Never EVER tried a USASA competition. Points do not accrue towards Regional or National rankings unless upgraded to a full membership within two weeks of event. (Upgrade - $85)
One Day membership $25 - This is for the athlete who has tried USASA before and wants to compete for the day BUT does NOT want to be a part of the series or accrue points. NOT UPGRADEABLE
Full Membership $85 - This membership is valid for one (1) full membership season at any USASA sanctioned event. Points will be earned towards Regional and National rankings and the rider can qualify for the National Championships. Full membership riders will receive an official membership packet by mail including a membership card, stickers, and other benefits. You can JOIN On-line or at an event.
Fees
$25 per event if you use CASH or $27 if you use credit / debit card
No deposit will be taken for bibs. Competitors that do not return their bibs will be charged $75 (please just return it and get your raffle ticket)
Competitor Information
All RIDERS must be registered with the USASA, and provide proof of membership at registration, if you haven't recieved your member card, please just have your membership number handy (it helps with registration). If not a member, we will be happy to help you with it at registration.
HELMETS are required for all events, that goes for competitors and forerunners. The helmet MUST be snow sports approved with the CE label present in them
Events are open to everyone of all ages -6 to 60 and over!
Skiers are welcome to compete in Slope Style (SS) and Skier Cross (SX)
Age groups for men and women of all ages.
Sportsmanship is very important for every competitor and their family.
Product raffle and awards happen shortly after the conclusion of the days events. The raffle consists of a bunch of SWAG that we have received from our GENEROUS sponsors and include: Shirts, Sweatshirts, Hoodies, Beanies, Wax etc.
Absolutely no fowl language at the events or during awards, or you will be asked to leave.
Smoking is prohibited in any competitors area, and at awards.

Aline Events - 2 Runs combined time
Slope Style Events - Best of 2 Judged Runs
Boarder Cross (BX) Skier Cross (SX) Events - Head to Head with various advancement based on field size (elimination tournament style)

How do I Qualify for Nationals?
To qualify for the USASA 2012 National Championships, to be held at Copper Mountain, Colorado, YOU MUST:
Be pre-qualified from last year (took 1st place at last years Nationals)
Earn top overall Inland NW Series points in your age division for a discipline (Best 3 of 4).
Earn an invitation through the National ranking system.
CHECK YOUR USASA ACCOUNT!! Log in, update your profile and make sure your contact EMAIL is perfect. This is your lifeline to USASA, come Nationals invites, you will be glad you know exactly how the system works.
