Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Series
The tenative 2011 - 2012 USASA Rocky Mountain Series competition schedule is now posted. Go to www.rockymountainseries.com to check it out!
This years Rocky Mountain Series schedule features 3 Freestyle (HP & SS), 2 Alpine (GS & SL) 2 Rail Jams and 4 Boardercross / Skier Cross competitions for USASA National Points to qualify you for the National Championships in April to be held again this year at Copper. We'll be using the same qualification format as last season to determine the series champions and national rankings for each discipline. What a great opportunity in your own backyard!
We'll also be hosting some pipeline events with the Revolution Tour and the FIS NorAM Boardercross & SkierCross once again making a stop at Copper, providing you with an opportunity to see where you stand against a national and international field.
Registration for the upcoming season will open on November 1st, 2010 and as always registration for Rocky Mountain Series competitions is available only online and closes at Midnight Pacific Standard Time the Wednesday evening before an event.
The posted 11/12 schedule is tentative and may be subject to change.

HELMETS Certified for Snowsports Use & USASA Membership are REQUIRED for all events, no exceptions.
Registration is ONLY available in advance online on either the USASA or Rockymountain Series website. Online registration is the only method available to register for a Rocky Mountains Series contest. Login using the link above, search for the Event once logged on and register. Online Registration closes at midnight the Wednesday evening before an event.
There will be NO REGISTRATION available on the day of the event.
How do I Qualify for the Nationals?
To qualify for the USASA 2011 National Championships you must either:
Be pre-qualified from last year (took 1st place at last years Nationals)
OR
Win the overall points champioship in your age division for a single discipline. This means you can qualify for National Championship in a single single discpline such as Half Pipe, or SlopeStyle, or Giant Salom, or Slalom, or BoarderCross®.
All other National Championship spots will be awarded via the National Ranking System.
General Event Information
Course Inspection / Practice 8:45 am thru 9:30 am at venue
Mandatory riders briefing at the top of the course at 9:45am
Competition start time 10:00 am
Awards 3:30 pm (Locations will be announced at the riders briefing)
