Series Background

THE USASA SnowOhio Series is back for another great season. Join the series that launched the professional snowboarding careers of Louie Vito (also appeared in Dancing with the Stars) and Jesse Csincsak (also appeared in the Bachelorette).

Competitor Information

Helmets are required for all events, Including PRACTICE! All USASA rules apply. All competitors under 18 must have a parent/guardian signature. A USASA competition membership is required, fees are $85 for complete 1yr membership. Membership can be purchased here online or at your first competition.

Early registration $75 before 10/31/10 and $85 after. Registration should be done online naming "SnowOhio" as your Home series. Check the USASA web site for more information. A VALID Lift ticket must be purchased at the resort! Age groups for men and woman from under 7 to over 60.

Event fee is $20.00 per event.(Competitor responsible for lift ticket). CHECK RESORT WEBSITES FOR LIFT TICKET PRICES. Great Products from our sponsors are raffled & awards will immediately follow after the competition results are tabulated.

How do I Qualify for the Nationals?

First place finisher overall in each discipline for each age/gender group in the SnowOhio Regional Qualifying events is awarded a National Championships invite (Riders must pay their own expenses). Calculations are bas.ed on a competitors top 3 scores in a particular Disciple (Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Slalom, etc). Additional invites to the National Championships are award by the USASA National office based on the National Ranking system. See USASA rulebook for more details.

Event Information

The events are centered on FUN and skill development in a relaxed competitive environment. We offer a true grass roots competitive experience with safe, fun, and fair events which allow aspiring competitors of all ages to get together and have some fun.

Our first event is January 8, 2012 at Brandywine.

Registration Information

Purchase USASA memberships online at www.usasa.org. Also, save $5 per event for using online registration! It is available 4 days before the competition and will close each Friday, at 3pm (ET), prior to the event. To register online goto www.usasa.organd login with your USASA username and password... you established this when you purchased the USASA membership. There is a "forgot" option if you don't remeber! We are encouraging everyone to do registration online so we can start the competions on time. Online registration also saves you time and hassle on competition days so you can get in more practice runs before the comp starts!

After logging in, maket sure all your personal info (address. email,etc.) is up to date. Click on "My Events" and then filter the event list "By Region" and select SnowOhio from the list. Registration is open if the discipline has a grey outline. To register, click the discipline and use your Visa, Mastercard or PayPal to purchase.We strongly encourage online registration, but will offer day of event registration for $20 per event, from 8:30-9:30am, at Brandywine and Snow Trails. Day of event registration will be $25 per event, from 8-9am, at Alpine Valley, MI and Seven Springs, PA.
