With the Paralympics still in the air the world’s adaptive winter community is buzzing with activity. The United States of America Snowboarding Association, USASA, and Adaptive Action Sports, AAS, will be contributing to this high energy season by hosting a World Snowboarding Federation, WSF, sanctioned Adaptive Snowboarding World Cup at Copper Mountain Colorado on Tuesday, April 6 2010, in conjunction with the USASA Nationals.

The second biggest request (behind the dates for Nationals) has been the Competition Groups/Comp Schedule and I am happy to announce that it is now official. It is exactly the same as last year. Click the link above to see the whole breakdown.
The 2010 Event is scheduled for April 3, 2010 through April 9, 2010 at Copper Mountain
and for those that REALLY want to plan ahead...
The 2011 Event is scheduled for April 1, 2011 through April 8, 2011 at Copper Mountain
and
The 2012 Event is scheduled for March 30, 2012 through April 6, 2012 at Copper Mountain.
There, that should cut down on the email and phone calls!

CORONA, Calif., (March 26, 2010) – The United States’ biggest and most prestigious amateur national snowboard event – the USASA National Championships – will have a decided Monster Energy flare as the nation’s No. 1 by-volume energy drink joins forces with the organizers of the April 3-9th competition snowboard blowout to host the inaugural Monster Mash Invitational pipe jam at Colorado’s Copper Mountain (April 7th).

The first round of invitations are now going out which includes 2009 National Champions (PQ) and Overall National Champions (OA). Next will be the Regional Champions in the next few days and eventually those from the National Rankings once all rankings are calculated, checked and final.

The total number of invites per age group and discipline is now posted on the "Comp Groups/Comp Schedule" page.
The Scholarship application (updated 3/6/2010) is now available on the Scholarship Information page.
NOTE: The scholarship applications must be turned in AT Nationals, they cannot be mailed in!
