Sunday, Feb. 28th What an amazing Blue Bird day at Sierra at Tahoe. Without any mechanical means the Pipe Crew and South Tahoe Crew were able to manually groom an amazing Superpipe for 2, yes 2, Superpipe events. The runs were awesome, the kids flew higher than ever and the crowd loved every minute of it. Thanks so much to Sierra at Tahoe, South Tahoe Series Crew and parents for making our Sunday a great day for everyone!

Saturday, Feb. 6th Our last Boardercross of the season was AMAZING! Sierra at Tahoe park crew, Al and our coaches built an amazing race course with challenging features around every berm. The weather was wet but the riding was fast! The course gave many opportunities for passing and the finishes were exactly why we boardercross! Exciting right down to the end! From Ruggies to Kahuna's the action was so fun to call at the finish! Adaptive Action Sports was in the house with adaptive riders competing in age groups rather than in Adaptive. They schooled EVERYONE! Their stories were shared at awards and everyone was humbled not only by their personal stories but their incredible athletic spirit! Thank you to Amy Purdy and Daniel Gale, Founders of Adaptive Action Sports, for sharing their day with us.

Competitor Information
All Competitors are required to wear helmets and bibs for every event during course inspection, practice runs, and competition runs. NO EXCEPTIONS!
We support a SMOKE FREE and DRUG FREE environment!
Event Information
The South Tahoe Snowboard Series is very sensitive to the economic changes surrounding all of our families. Here's our Stimulus Package: to help cut costs of competiting we will be doubling up on certain events like Slalom, Giant Slalom and Superpipe. This will alleviate paying for additional lift tickets, etc.
Here's how the double ups work: Each Superpipe event will consist of 2 runs, and placing will be determined by the best of the 2 scores for each event. Each competitor will get 4 runs - 2 for each Superpipe event. Each Alpine event will consist of 2 runs, and placing will be determined by the combined scores of those two runs for each Alpine event. Each competitor will get 4 runs - 2 for each Alpine event.
Registration Information
On Site Registration is $30.00 per competitor. Registration is from 8:00 am to 9:45 am. the morning of each event. Registration paperwork is provided at registration. You may also pay your membership dues at competition registration, new and returning members.
