Congratulations to Rocky Mountain Series rider Jimmy Simon, winner of a 150 Never Summer EVO in the January Membership drawing.
Jimmy competes in the Legend class and has been a member of the USASA for over 15 years, an all around shreder in disciplines. Jimmy's goal this year is to win the triple overall.
We wish him the best of luck and he couldn't be more prepared to slay the freestyle events on his new EVO, designed for optimum freestyle control, and a buttery fun and playful ride. Never Summers EDS damping system provides high-speed stability not usually found in a park/pipe board, while maintaining a light and lively ride.
Watch out, Jimmy's got one mean shred stick to back his play!
Phil Smage is a Midwest Best Coach and boardercross competitor in the USASA. Phil is multi-talented and is a professional snowskater. In fact he just won the Summer Open of Snowskating at Mt. Hood. In addition to competing the last 4 years as an Open Boardercross Competitor in the USASA, Phil has racked up 3 XGames Snowskate Champion titles, world class National MotoTrials and endurocross competitor, and all around nice guy!
Chuck Allen, founder of the USASA, co-founder of the NSSA, and former Huntington Beach High School Surf Coach, passed away at 1:26 pm, February 14th, 2011.
